The plans for the historical Capitol Theatre are to restore the building to its original 1920's glory.

Recently, part of the brick wall lining Harrison St. was repaired thanks, in part, to the Ruth Mott Foundation's downtown facade program. The marquee, too, was restored and put back into operation - sometimes you might be able to catch it while lit up, alternating between "Capitol" and "Theatre".

Because of the intricate details and current condition of the building, restoration could cost as much as $20 Million. Funding is not secured for a full restoration so the owner, Troy Farah, will be taking things one step at a time.
