The Flint Cultural Center Corporation was established as a nonprofit organization in 1992. This organization's tasks are "taking care of the campus grounds and buildings, coordinating Cultural Center campus-wide programs and events, and directly supporting its member organizations."

The FCCC has proven vital to the organizations of the Flint Cultural Center that it serves. The Flint Youth Theatre, Longway Planetarium, Sloan Museum, and The Whiting have all benefited from the new programs, events, and promotion brought in part by the efforts of this organization. They also were instrumental in raising funds for renovations and expansion in The Whiting and Robert T. Longway Planetarium, respectively.
